The CHRP has organised a colloquium on 21st May from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm. The theme of this colloquium is: 'The Language of Morality and Morality in Language: Reflections on African Sexualities.' This colloquium is part of the broad theme: African Sexualities: Traditions, Perspectives and Human Rights and aims at:
· Bringing together a diverse range of linguistic experts, clergy, human rights advocates, policy makers, and media practitioners to discuss African sexualities.
· Evaluating available linguistic, legal, social and cultural frameworks on African sexualities especially the place of sexual and gender minorities in Kenya.
· Identifying and creating synergy among institutions to safeguard sexual and gender minority rights in Kenya.
