The University of Nairobi will host the 9th African Association for the study of Religions Conference in Africa at the UoN Towers in August 2-4, 2023. 

Mrs Rebecca Murigu Lecturer at the department, and also the Chairperson Nairobi School Board of Management, receiving the President Dr. William Ruto at Nairobi School. The president was laying foundation to the school science complex and the the commissioning of a dormitory.

Dr. Mwende presented a paper; Lets do it together : rethinking gender in the mediation and resolution of natural resources conflicts in a changing climate in East Africa, at conference held on 17-21 May 2023 in Trinidad and Tobago
