Following the launch of the students voter registration drive by Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) in partnership with Universities and Colleges Students' Peace Association of Kenya (UCSPAK), the Dean of Students cordially invites all the students on Campus and staff for Voter Registration outside Taifa Hall, Main Campus from Thursday, 14 October to Tuesday 2 November 2021 from 9.00am to 4.00pm.

Dean welcomes new students to FoA
The Dean, Faculty of Arts, Prof. Ephraim Wahome welcomed 1,800 new students to the Faculty for the academic year 2021/2022. In his address to the freshmen, Prof. Wahome called on the students to focus on their studies even as they navigate through the ups and downs of campus life.
The Faculty of Arts has welcomed 1,800 first year students for the Academic Calendar 2021/2022. The first years reported on Monday, September 20, 2021.
Dr Hassan Kinyua, participated in the Muslim Summit organised by KEMNAC, held from the 22nd to the 24th of August, 2021.
V.Y. Mudimbe’s The Invention of Africa is an articulate interrogation of the assumptions and presumptions of the humanities and social sciences insofar as they sought to study various aspects of African cultures almost three decades after most African countries gained their formal political independence. Nevertheless, it is regrettable that a substantial number of scholars in so-called Anglophone Africa are unaware of this groundbreaking work.
The University of Nairobi wishes to inform all students who qualified for the award of various degrees and diplomas at the end of last academic year (2020/2021) and members of the public, that the 65th Graduation Ceremony will be held VIRTUALLY on Friday, September 24, 2021 commencing at 8.00 a.m. at the Great Court. This means that all members of a community have equal rights to determine their collective course of action.
