Dean welcomes new students to FoA
The Dean, Faculty of Arts, Prof. Ephraim Wahome welcomed 1,800 new students to the Faculty for the academic year 2021/2022. In his address to the freshmen, Prof. Wahome called on the students to focus on their studies even as they navigate through the ups and downs of campus life.
The Faculty of Arts has welcomed 1,800 first year students for the Academic Calendar 2021/2022. The first years reported on Monday, September 20, 2021.

Mudimbe’s The Invention of Africa is an articulate interrogation of the assumptions and presumptions of the humanities and social sciences insofar as they sought to study various aspects of African cultures almost three decades after most African countries gained their formal political independence. Nevertheless, it is regrettable that a substantial number of scholars in so-called Anglophone Africa are unaware of this groundbreaking work.
